History

The beginnings of BORS Břeclav a. s. reach back as far as 1949, when the transport enterprise 1004 Hustopeče near Brno was spun off from ČSAD Kyjov Autospráva. In 1960 as part of centralisation one enterprise came into being with its headquarters in Břeclav and with premises in Hustopeče and Mikulov.

After the revolution in 1991 the ČSAD Břeclav enterprise and its premises became independent as a state enterprise. As part of the second wave of coupon privatisation the joint-stock company came into being on 1st January 1994, divided into premises in Břeclav, Hustopeče and Mikulov.
